What’s Included in a Standard Installation?

• Labour for drilling and routing gas line access between the appliance and gas cylinder location.
• We’ll install the regulator and gas line, fit an emergency shut-off valve, fit the flexi copper tubing and provide all other materials needed to complete the installation safely and professionally.

If the gas line needs to be chased into or run through the concrete foundation, this work must be completed before any flooring, tiling, or finishing surfaces are installed.

Why it matters:

• Retrofitting gas lines after flooring is installed can be costly, time-consuming, and may damage finished surfaces.
• A central fireplace requires a concealed gas supply, which often means embedding the line beneath or within the slab. In some cases we can run it through a ceiling.
• By installing the gas line early, you avoid unnecessary demolition later and ensure a clean, efficient setup.

Always install gas lines to any potential fireplace locations during the rough-in phase—before any flooring or surface finishes are laid. Even if the fireplace is a “maybe,” it’s far easier and more cost-effective to prepare for it now than to retrofit later.
